Ebony Fashion Fair Around the World papers, 1959.

Correspondence, clippings, and printed materials documenting the "Ebony Fashion Fair Around the World," held in St. Paul on December 2, 1959. The show, conducted by Ebony Magazine, was sponsored by two St. Paul African-American churches: St. Philip's Episcopal and Pilgrim Baptist, with Mrs. William L. West and Mrs. U. G. Coram serving as chairwomen. Funds received from the show were to be used for "the benefit of youth in the community."
